Driving home yesterday on SZR and suddenly my 2019 Duster decided to throw every warning light at once, ABS, traction control, power steering, you name it, all blinking like crazy. Pulled over freaking out thinking something major had failed but the engine was still running smooth and nothing felt off mechanically. A colleague at work this morning told me his Megane did the exact same thing right before the battery died completely, said modern Renaults get really dramatic when voltage drops even a little. I honestly thought a failing battery just meant slow cranking in the morning, didn’t realize it could cause a full electrical meltdown while actually driving. I’m now scrambling to figure out a reliable Renault battery replacement in Dubai before I end up stranded somewhere, and I saw a few folks on a local car group recommending batteryzoneuae for stocking Renault specific batteries that match the OEM specs, apparently they even handle the weird start stop ones which mine probably is. Anyone else had their Duster or Koleos go haywire electrically only to find out it was just the battery all along? Kinda hoping that’s all it is because a sensor or ECU issue sounds way more expensive.
