I’ve got a 2016 Jeep Wrangler JK and for the last few months there’s been this annoying clunk coming from the front driver side whenever I brake moderately hard or go over speed bumps. I’ve already replaced the sway bar links and the track bar but the noise is still there. A guy at a tire shop said it might be the lower control arm bushings because they looked a bit cracked. I don’t wanna keep throwing parts at it without knowing for sure. I need to find a shop that can put a pry bar on all the suspension joints and actually find the play. I’ve been looking for an Accomplished Control Arm Mussafah specialist that has experience with JK front ends and can tell me if it’s just the bushings or if the whole arm needs replacing. Has anyone had a clunk on a lifted JK and found it to be the ball joints or even the caliper bolts being loose? The car has about 100k km on it and I do light offroading maybe once a month. Also wondering if worn control arm bushings could cause uneven tire wear because I’ve noticed my front tires wearing on the inside edge. Any recommendations for a shop in Mussafah that won’t just replace everything would be great. Thanks.
